How to Hook a Wii Console to the TV

The Nintendo Wii is capable of more than simple video gaming. Use the console's SD card slot to upload photos and other media to the system. The Nintendo Wii is also equipped with a built-in wireless Internet adapter so you can browse the Web and download Wii Channels and other video games from the Wii Shop network. Connect the Wii to television to start enjoying all that the system has to offer.

Instructions

      Insert the DC plug of the Wii AC adapter cable into the DC connector on the back of the gaming console.

      Plug the other end of the AC adapter cable into a wall outlet.

      Insert the connector of the sensor bar into the port labeled "Sensor Bar" on the back of the Wii console.

      Position the sensor bar above or below your television.

      Plug the multi-out end of the AV cable into the port labeled "AV Multi Out" on the back of the Wii console.

      Insert the RCA plugs of the AV cord into the corresponding input jacks on your television. Match the yellow connector of the plug to the yellow jack of the television. Match the red and white connectors to the red and white jacks of the television.

      Turn on the Wii and television. Switch your television input to "Composite" or "RCA" so that the Wii is the input source. The Wii shows up on the screen.
