Place the Wii next to the converter box that is already connected to the TV through a coaxial cable. Plug the Wii's power cord into a wall outlet for power. Plug the proprietary plug at one end of the Wii's A/V cable into the plug socket on the back of the Wii --- the tab on the inside of the plug must line up with the groove in the socket for the two to connect to each other.
Plug the yellow RCA plug at the other end of the A/V cable into the composite video input on the converter box. Plug the red and white RCA audio plugs at the same end of the A/V cable as the yellow RCA plug into the red and white RCA audio inputs on the converter box.
Insert one end of a composite video cable into the composite video output on the converter box. Insert the other end of the composite video cable into a video input on the side or back of the TV. Insert the red and white RCA audio plugs at one end of an audio cable into the red and white RCA video outputs on the converter box. Insert the red and white RCA audio plugs at the other end of the audio cable into the red and white audio inputs on the side or back of the TV.
Turn the TV on with its remote. Press "Menu," then "Video," then "Video Input." Select the video input that the composite video cable is plugged into. Press "Menu" to exit the settings.
Press the "Source" button on the converter box until a LED lights up next to "Video." Turn the Nintendo Wii on and watch the "Home" menu appear on the TV.
