How to Load NTSC Games on the Wii

The Nintendo Wii is the current generation of Nintendo consoles. It has motion controlled remotes that function as game controllers and comes standard with Wi-Fi for easy connecting and updating of the system. However, like most big name video game consoles, the Wii is region locked. This means the Wii from one region will only play the Wii games from that region. If you want to load an NTSC Wii game, you have to use a NTSC Wii to do it. NTSC is the North American region code.

     Turn on your Wii console and turn on the TV it is connected to.

     Place the NTSC Wii game into the Wii console.

     Press "A" on the Wii remote. Select the game from the top left hand side of the Wii menu. Click "A." The game will load automatically.
