Start the Wii Fit game and press the red SYNC button on the Wii and the Wii Balance Board. This synchronizes the device to the video game system.
Use the Wii Fit menus to input your height and age, select a Mii and enter other statistics about yourself.
Choose between the 40 available activities, separated into categories of yoga, aerobics, balance and strength training. Some activities you must unlock by playing the less intense activities multiple times or achieving a high enough score. Aerobic activities are especially useful for weight loss. Keep trying different activities to keep your exercises fun and interesting.
Use the Wii Fit tracking ability to set weight goals. The game tracks how long it takes to reach your goals and how many minutes you spend on exercises in the game.
Exercise with the Wii Fit 20 to 45 minutes daily to help you lose weight.
