How to Slam a Ball in Wii Tennis

If you enjoy playing "Wii Tennis," you will pleased to know that you can greatly increase your chances of winning by using the power-serve technique. Denoted by flashing light and smoke around the tennis ball, the power-serve launches your serves extremely fast toward your opponents, making the ball more difficult to return. Mastering this technique will give you a great advantage over the computer or against other human players unfamiliar with the technique.

     Press the "A" button on your Wii-mote. This tosses the tennis ball into the air.

     Wait for the ball to reach its peak. This takes about 1/2 second.

     Flick your Wii-mote toward the ball in a rapid motion at the moment when the ball is suspended at the top of its arc. If done correctly, your serve will be about twice as fast as a traditional serve, and the ball will have flashing light and smoke-like graphics around it.
