My Wii Contollers Won't Turn On

The Nintendo Wii controllers are essentially the console's main highlight. As opposed to traditional gaming devices, these remotes provide motion-sensing technology to control your games. You can literally wave your arms to control a game character's outcome. If your Wii controllers don't turn on, however, you must

properly set them up with the main console unit.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the Wii. Remove the cap from the back of the controller and properly insert two AA batteries. Follow the embedded battery diagram and place the positive and negative sides accordingly.

    • 2

Open the SD card port cover on the front of the Wii. Press the "Sync" button underneath the battery chamber of the controller (the red button). Then, press the "Sync" button located on the front Wii console panel.

    • 3

Look at the LED lights on the Wii controller. Give the synchronization two to three seconds to take place. The lit LED lights on the front of the Wii controller will indicate its synchronization status. A solid light means the controller is synced.
