How to Insert the Wii LAN Adapter Into the USB Port

The Nintendo Wii is a video game console that can connecting wirelessly to the Internet. Unfortunately, the Wii does not have a built-in network card that allows you to connect to the Internet with an Ethernet cable. Users who want to connect the Wii to a router must purchase the Wii Lan Adapter. This connects the Ethernet cable from the router to the USB port on the Wii and establishes an Internet connection.

      Turn off the Wii console and turn it around so you can see the back of the console. The USB ports are in the back.

      Plug the Wii Lan Adapter into one of the USB connectors on the back of the console.

      Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the router and the other end of the cable to the Wii Lan Adapter. This cable allows the Wii to access the Internet through the router.
