How to Unlock All the Minigames in Mario Party 8

"Mario Party 8" adds new board and mini games to the best-selling game series that features Nintendo characters such as Mario, Luigi and Peach traversing board games as players try to collect the most stars to win the match. This 2007 title for the Nintendo Wii offers dozens of new mini games, which require quick reflexes and strategy to win. Most can be unlocked as you play through the game, but others require specific tasks to be completed first.

  Unlock one duel mini game during one of the board games, and you can then play the mini game "Tic Tac Drop."

  Play the mini game "Flip Out Frenzy" after you unlock a four-player mini game while competing in a board game.

  Unlock one of several types of mini games to open "Crown Showdown." To get this special mini game you must unlock a four-player mini game, duel mini game, one-versus-three-player mini game and two-versus-two mini game.

  Beat the "Star Battle" mode to unlock the Minigame Wagon. This allows you to buy several new mini games.

  Visit the Fun Bazaar. Here you can buy several bonuses, including some mini games, by spending Carnival Cards you earn by playing through the title. Each item in the bazaar costs 50 of these cards.
