Rent to Own
Call your local rent to own store to check the availability and price of a Wii console. In most phone books, you can find rental stores under the headings of "Rent to Own Stores" or "Appliances Rental or Leasing."
Gather your personal information including a picture ID, current rental or lease agreement, at least one utility with your name and address on it, your previous address if you've lived at your current address less than one year, source of income and four references. Ask the dealer for specific items and take those with you to the store.
Read the lease agreement carefully before filling out and signing the paperwork. You will have the option to rent to own the item by paying weekly or monthly payments and interest-related charges until you have paid for the entire cost of the item, or to pay rental fees for the item for a short-term period -- perfect for a weekend party.
Make the initial down payment, although this may not be required for all vendors, and continue to make the residual payments as agreed in your contract.
Renting for Parties
Contact your local gaming console rental center or look online for a vendor who deals in your area.
Fill out the reservation page or contact information to have an associate contact you for specific details. Ask about pricing, package amenities, item drop-off and pick-up, security deposits and insurance. Be sure the agreement covers all of these items before signing any rental agreement.
Provide the sales agent with your financial information or pay the invoice sent to you to reserve the Wii console for your event.
Receive the Wii console, making sure you get a copy of the drop-off receipt and drop-off condition. Use and maintain the quality of the console as agreed in your rental contract.
Return the Wii console at the end of the agreed term. Be sure to have your deposit returned to you and to take with you receipts and proof of item return and item condition.
