How to Make a Lot of Money on Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility

In "Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility" for the Wii, money is the key to new tools, new weapons and upgrades to your home, all of which in turn help you to make more money. Making your initial money at the beginning of the game is vital to enabling you to make even more later in the game. There are a number of tasks that you can complete to make your fortune; some of the most productive are part-time jobs, mining and mushroom hunting.

Instructions

  Go into any of the shops in the main town and talk to the clerk. Select the conversation option for a part-time job and your character will begin working and earning you money. Your character will automatically work until the shop closes.

  Meet Owen in front of the Blacksmith's shop and he will give you a hammer. Take the hammer to the Ganache Mine in the Ganache Mine district.

  Enter the mine and begin exploring. Collect any mushrooms that you can find. Equip your hammer and smash stones to collect ore as well.

  Return to your home and deposit your mushrooms and ore in your shipping box.
- 5
  Go into your house and go to sleep. When you wake up in the morning, you will be paid for the mushrooms and ore.
