Instructions for Wii Rock Band

Rock Band for the Wii gaming console is a video game with musical instrument emulators that are activated in sync with each other and software to mimic a rock band. Each individual controller is unique to an instrument including: guitar controller, bass controller, electric drum set and vocal microphone. The game is played to a list of popular songs and the players are scored on accuracy while playing along with them. Further songs are unlocked by the execution of songs at a certain skill level.

Instructions

  Place the Wii Rock Band disc into the Wii gaming console and turn on. Allow a few moments for the disc to be read and fully active. Select the game style desired such as: "Quick play," "Career," or "Practice" to advance to the song menu.

  Scroll the song menu for a desired song and press the "A" button on any controller. Choose the "Random" option to have the system select a song instead. Wait a moment as the song and parts load on the system.

  Hold down the corresponding color button(s) on the guitar and bass controllers and strike the playing bar as the colored notes scroll passed the screen. Hit the corresponding pads on time with the music on the drum set as they are indicated on the screen.

  Sing the lyrics into the vocal controller as the appear on the screen (the same way as karaoke). Adjust pitch to follow the pitch indicator bar on the right.
