Things You'll Need
Instructions
Read the game manual for the game you are trying to play and look for a statement that the game is compatible with the Wii Wheel. If the game is incompatible, you can't use the wheel with the game.
Push the Wii remote free of the Wii Wheel through the hole in the back of the unit.
Remove the Wii remote from its remote jacket if it's in one.
Press the "A" button on the Wii remote. One of the four blue lights on the front of the remote stays lit up. If it does not, replace the two AA batteries in the remote and press "A" again to sync the remote with the Wii.
Wipe the lens of the Wii remote gently with a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris. Do the same for the lens on the wheel.
Open the battery cover on the back of the remote and press the red "Sync" button.
Flip open the SD card slot on the front of the Wii console. Press the "Sync" button.
Run the remote's wrist strap through the hole in the back of the wheel, and then pull it the rest of the way through from the other side.
Press the remote in place until it clicks and fits tightly in the wheel.
Move both the wheel and the Wii sensor bar away from any other wireless devices.
Contact Nintendo customer support if the wheel still doesn't function properly.
