Things You'll Need
Instructions
Clean the Discs
Dampen a cotton cloth with water.
Wipe the disc from the center toward the outside, going directly from the center hole of the disc to the closest outside edge. Work your way around the disc with this method.
Dry the disc with a dry part of the cloth using the same center-to-edge wiping method.
Let the disc sit undisturbed for at least two minutes to let it completely dry before putting it back in the Wii.
Cleaning the Console
Wipe the exposed areas of the Wii with a microfiber cloth. Microfiber is especially soft and picks up dust particles.
Check the nozzle of the blowgun attachment for compressed air, looking for any foreign debris. Unless removed, this debris could make your Wii dirtier than it was previously.
Shoot the air compressor at all the cracks and crevices on the Wii to blast out any dust. Make sure to shoot the air into the exhaust vents to clean any dust that may have attached to the inside of the console.
Cleaning the Lens
Remove any disc that may be in the Wii console by pressing the "Eject" button.
Put two or three drops of the included cleaning solution on the cleaning pad from a cleaning kit and insert the disc into the Wii console with the pad facing toward the bottom of the unit. The channel icon on the Wii will display a "?." This is normal.
Move the handle of the lens cleaner no more than 3/4-inch back and forth, between 10 and 20 times.
Return the cleaning disc's handle to the center and press the "Eject" button to remove the cleaning disc.
