Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on the Wii system and go to the Home screen.
Put two AA batteries or a rechargeable battery pack in the Wii controller.
Press the "A" button and look at the flashing blue lights at the base of the Wii controller. If three of the lights stop flashing and one remains solid, this indicates that the controller is already synchronized with the console. However, if all the lights just continue flashing or go dark, you will need to sync the controller with the Wii.
Locate the small panel next to the disc slot on the front of the Wii console. Open the panel and press the red rectangular button. This is the console sync button
Remove the battery cover on the Wii controller and press the small red button in the bottom corner. This is the controller sync button
Place the battery cover back on the Wii controller and look at the 4 blue lights on the console. If three of the lights stop flashing and one remains solid, this indicates that you have successfully synchronized the controller to the console. If all the lights keep flashing or go dark, you might have waited too long to press the controller sync button. Repeat the process and make sure you press the controller sync button right after you press the console sync button.
