Things You'll Need
Instructions
Check the cable from each cymbal to be sure it is intact, and plugged into the correct port on the back of the drum kit. Check the colored screws on top of the cymbals for tightness; they should be loose enough for the cymbals to move around.
Attach the plastic pipe clamps to the back of the drum kit if your cymbals are not assembled. Slide the silver pipes into the pipe clamps, and secure the clamps. Attach the cymbals to the top of the pipes with the provided hardware. Match the colored nuts to the nearest drum in the kit. Screw the nut over the cymbal, taking care to allow the cymbal a range of movement. Do not tighten all the way.
Check the batteries in the back of your drum kit, and replace them with three new AA batteries if necessary. Make sure the on/off switch is set to "on."
Turn on your Wii console and insert your "Rock Band World Tour" game disc. Start the game.
Select Quick Play mode and test your cymbals. If the cymbal is still not working correctly, return to the main menu. Select "Options" and follow this menu to the calibration settings. Make sure the settings are adjusted properly.
Contact the instrument manufacturer, Mad Catz, for customer support or parts replacement if your cymbal still does not work (see Resources). If your drum kit is still under warranty, replacement or repair should be free of charge.
