Instructions
Sit the Wii console vertically or horizontally on a leveled surface near the television. If you are standing the console vertically, slide the stand plate into the bottom of the console.
Insert the Wii component video cable into the "AV Multi Out" connector on the back of the console. Insert the RCA plugs -- the red, yellow and white plugs -- into the rear or side component input jacks of your television. Depending on the television make and model, you may need to insert the yellow plug into a green jack with a "Video" label.
Connect the Wii censor bar to the rear of the console and place the bar on a flat surface in front of the television set.
Connect the Wii AC adapter to the rear of the Wii console and plug it into a nearby wall outlet or surge protector. Press the "Power" button on the front of the Wii console to turn the system on. Turn the television set on and locate the video component channel. If you have trouble with this step, consult your television set manual for specifics on how to set up video components.
Install batteries in your Nintendo Wii Remote controller and follow the on-screen instructions to sync the controller with the video console and complete the setup process.
