How to Move Saved Files to the Wii

The Nintendo Wii console features user-friendly options which allow you to manage your game data. These include the ability to remove, copy or move your saved files to an external SD card for backup and sharing purposes. To make use of such saved files, however, you must copy them back to the Wii regardless of the total capacity available within the console. You may perform this task using the system's main data management settings.

     Turn on your Nintendo Wii game console. Insert the SD card into the Wii's SD card slot, located at the front of the console.

     Select "Wii Options" from the main menu, then click "Data Management." Click "Save Data" then "Wii."

     Select the "SD Card" tab located at the top of the menu at hand. Click the saved game file you wish to move to the Wii. Press "Move" from the resulting pop-up menu displayed.
