How to Use TVersity for Wii

TVersity is a multimedia program that lets you stream audio and video files directly from your PC to your video gaming console, providing you with a full media center experience for free. Best of all, you don't have to install anything on the Nintendo Wii itself to use TVersity. Take simple steps to begin streaming your media to your console.

      Download the TVersity software to your personal computer from the TVersity website (see Resources). Once the download is complete, double-click the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program.

      Click on the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar and select "Control Panel" from the list. Click "Network and Internet" followed by "Network and Sharing Center."

      Click on your network which is located in the "Connections" field. Select "Details..." in the dialog box and make a note of the IP address located in the list of details. You will need this to connect your Wii to your computer.

      Turn on your Wii console. Select "Internet Channel" from the main menu and press the "Start" button to open the web browser.

      Click on "Web Address" and enter the following in to the address bar, replacing the x's with your computer IP address: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:41952/flashlib

      Click "OK" to begin TVersity. Once the web page has loaded you should be able to see your media library and begin streaming directly to your Wii console.
