How to Make a Clan in Mario Kart for the Wii

Since the arrival of the Super Nintendo, players have been racing customized go karts the "Super Mario Kart" racing series. On the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo released the "Mario Kart Wii." In addition to playing in karts, players can now race motorcycles. Online play was also added, another first in the "Mario Kart" series. Players decided to start making clans--teams of dedicated payers--to show off their skills and battle for clan supremacy in "Mario Kart Wii's" online play. You can create a clan of your own if you wish.

      Create a forum post on a message board for "Mario Kart Wii" asking for members of a new Mario Kart clan. Common ones are GameFAQs, the MarioKartWii.com forums and the WiiUsers forums. Instruct the potential players to send you an e-mail.

      E-mail the players with the clan name and information. If you like, you can discuss possible ideas with the other players.

      Insert the clan name into your Mii username. Click the Mii channel. Click the "Edit Mii" icon. Drag your Mii to "Edit Mii." Change the name. Most clans use a bracket with the name of the clan inside of it. So, for instance, if your Mii's name is "Joe," you would change the name to "[Clan Name] Joe."

      Share friend codes between each other.

      Start an online game in "Mario Kart Wii." Only allow friends to join who have the clan name. Once they are in the room, you can add them to your friends list.

      Visit message boards and talk about your clan to other people.
