How to Connect Nintendo Wii Drums

In the popularity of music genre video games, developers releases games such as "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" across all major consoles. Because the Nintendo Wii doesn't support wireless controllers beyond its native Wii remotes, the developers had to come up with another method to connect the controllers. Some third-party drum peripherals may use a dongle to receive the wireless connection, but the official brands use a USB cable.

  Turn the Nintendo Wii so its back faces you.

  Insert the drum's USB cable into one of the two USB ports on the Wii's backside. The USB cable is permanently attached to the drums. If your drums come with a dongle, insert this into one of the USB ports.

  Turn the Wii back around. Open the small door on the front of the console located next to the disc slot. Press the red button; this is the sync button.

  Press the large button on the drums with a picture of the drums on it. This will turn on the drums and connect them to the Wii, whether connected by via cable or dongle.
