As of December 2010, "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" for the Nintendo Wii is the latest entry in the "Guitar Hero" franchise. Utilizing plastic guitars to press notes corresponding to the notes on the screen, timing is everything in "Guitar Hero." When you are lagging, or out of sync, you will notice a delay upon each button press, causing you not to hit the notes correctly, thus making gameplay difficult. This is due to the audio/visual delay between your television and the game. Included on "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" is a method to calibrate your game to your television.

Select "Options" from the "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" main menu.

Select "Calibrate Lag."

Follow the on-screen prompts. When this is complete, "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" will automatically calibrate itself to minimize the lag, making your television and game in sync.
