How to Disable a WiiMote for DDR2

Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party is a game made for the Nintendo Wii gaming system. The gameplay includes moving your feet on a dance pad, along with moving your arms while holding the remote control (also called a Wiimote). If you choose to just focus on the footwork, you can disable the hand markers that require the Wiimote through the game options.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the game into the console and turn on the Nintendo Wii by pressing the power button.

    • 2

Scroll over to the music list menu using the arrows on the Wiimote.

    • 3

      Select "Options" from the menu.

    • 4

Locate "Hand Markers" and select "Disable." This needs to be done separately for each player.

    • 5

Exit the menu and start play as normal.
