Backup Loader 0.3 is a homebrew application that users can install on their Nintendo Wii Systems to play copies of their games that they have made as back ups. However, since fans created the application, it is often unstable and may require a few tweaks to get working properly. You can fix games such as "Resident Evil 4" in the same manner when it comes to loading them in the program.

Instructions

  Turn on your Wii.

  Put in the backup disc.

  Access the Backup Loader 0.3 channel.

  Click "Config Menu."

  Experiment by playing with the "Force NTSC," "Force PAL50" and "Force PAL60" options. Depending on the region you bought your game in or from either one of these options turned on may fix the issue. If it doesn't continue onto Step 6.

  Reburn the backup using your computer's burning software. Burn it at the lowest speed possible to prevent errors.

  Put the new disc in the drive and attempt to play it in the Backup Loader 0.3 Channel.
