Why Can't My Pokemon Go on Wi-Fi on Pokemon Battle Revolution?

Pokemon Battle Revolution is a 3-D battle simulation game that was the first Wii game to utilize Wii-DS connectivity as well as Nintendo's proprietary Nintendo Wi-Fi connection to allow for online play. However, Wi-Fi play can be hindered by a few factors.
  1. "Hacked" Pokemon

    • Pokemon obtained in the Pearl, Diamond, HeartGold, Soul Silver or Platinum versions for the Nintendo DS via the use of a cheating device, such as Action Replay, are subject to ban. This includes ordinarily uncatchable pokemon (e.g., Mew or Celebi) or Pokemon with stats above their maximum ranges for the species, such as a Pidgey with a 900 attack stat.

    Use of "Ubers"

    • The "Uber-tier" of competitive battling includes many of the legendary Pokemon as well as popular, strong Pokemon such as Garchomp. In order to help balance the game, Nintendo requires both players to agree to the use of "Ubers" in a Wi-Fi battle. Should either player not agree to this condition, a team that features any of the Uber-tier Pokemon will be unusable for online multiplayer.

    Wi-Fi Connection

    • If the Pokemon are neither "hacked" nor "Uber," the problem may lie with the Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi connection problem may be caused by Internet Service Provider (ISP) outages or an out-of-date system. Going in to the control settings from the Wii menu will allow you to perform a system update. If your system is up-to-date, or the system update can't be completed, call your ISP.
