How to Change the Color of the Nintendo Wii Console

The Wii is a wireless game console developed by Nintendo. It comes with a wireless controller that is used as a pointing device and it detects movement. The only available color of the game console when it was released was white. Today it comes in white, black and red. Since it is limited to three colors, some companies have developed a skin for the Wii. Skinning is the process of sticking vinyl stickers to personalize your Wii. Many websites sell these decals. They offer stickers that run in solid colors and crazy prints. They can also be customized and ordered.

     Wipe your Wii console with a clean cloth.

     Lay your Wii console on a clean flat working surface.

     Remove the skin from its backing. Carefully lower onto the device aligning it in one corner.

     Press the skin onto the Wii firmly, spreading it down with your fingers.

     Lift the Wii console and press with your fingers to fully bond the skin to the device.

     Repeat this process with the Wii remotes if you have purchased matching skin for the controllers.
