How to Make a Mii Avatar

Your Mii avatar is a customizable character that allows you to create a likeness of yourself or a creative character and is used in compatible Nintendo Wii games. Each Wii console is capable of storing up to 100 custom Miis, allowing you and your friends and family to each have one or more Miis saved to the console. You can also save the Miis to your Nintendo Wii remote and transfer them to other Wii consoles.

Instructions

      Turn on your Nintendo Wii, then select "Mii Channel" from the Wii menu. Press the "A" button on the Wii remote to make selections.

      Select "Start."

      Select a gender for your Mii.

      Select an icon near the top of the menu to change a physical characteristic of your Mii, then choose from the available options displayed for that characteristic. Customizable characteristics include hair color, eyes, nose and body proportions. Customize each characteristic until you are satisfied with the look of your Mii.

      Select "Quit," then "Save and Quit" to save your Mii.

      Name your Mii by selecting letters on the screen with your Wii remote, then select "OK."

      Select whether you would like your Mii to mingle. This allows your Mii to be displayed on other Wii consoles.
