Shotgun Options for Wii

The Nintendo Wii has many different controller attachments that facilitate the acting-out elements inherent in Wii games. The collection of shooting games available for the console has brought with it a need for Wii gun attachments, and there are a variety of shotgun controllers available for the console. These can be used with many games, such as "House of the Dead: Overkill," "Chicken Riot" and "Buck Fever."
  1. Wii Zapper Blaster Shotgun

    • The Zapper Blaster Shotgun is compatible with all Wii shooting games and connects to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. All of the controllers' buttons are accessible when attached to the Zapper Blaster, and it can be held single-handedly or with both hands.

    Buckshot Pump-Action Shotgun

    • The Buckshot Pump-Action Shotgun has rubber grips and comes with an integrated analog controller that connects to your Wii. You access the "B" button by cocking the shotgun and the "A" button by pulling the trigger. It comes in red or black and is compatible with all Wii shooting games.

    Wii Buzz Shotgun

    • The Wii Buzz Shotgun looks a little like a rifle because of the size of its barrel, but it is in fact a pump-action shotgun. The trigger functions as the "B" button, and there are also buttons for "C" and "Z" on the Nunchuk. This controller has a vibrate function, and a removable barrel. The remote is also lightweight, allowing for quick movement in tense moments.

    Wii Pal Shotgun

    • The Wii Pal Shotgun comes as part of Eagle Tech's "4-in-1 Sports Pack and Shotgun." Along with the Shotgun, you get a tennis racket, baseball bat and golf club. The Shotgun features a scope, and connects to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for use on any shooting game. This product may require some additional setting up.

    Resident Evil Shot Blaster

    • The Resident Evil Shot Blaster was released with "Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles." It features a trigger-activated "B" button, a "Resident Evil" Wii Remote skin, and full access to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk's buttons. It can be held with one or two hands, depending upon your preferences, and offers two separate handles for grip. Because the controller simply accesses the Wii's Remote and Nunchuk controls, it can be used with any Wii game.
