How to Play House of the Dead Using the Perfect Shot

The Nyko Perfect Shot is a gun-shaped shell for your Wii controller that will enable your Wii controller to look and feel like an arcade-style lightgun. The Perfect Shot is primarily designed to be used with the Wii's arcade lightgun genre, which includes games like "House of the Dead." To use your Perfect Shot with "House of the Dead," and similar games, you will need to attach your Wiimote to the Perfect Shot shell.

Instructions

  Insert the Wiimote face up into the top of the Perfect Shot shell. The Wiimote will be inserted from the bottom so that the directional pad and IR sensor are located at the end of the Perfect Shot shell.

  Secure the Wiimote in place with the orange bar located at the end of the Perfect Shot near the IR sensor. Slide the bar over the Wiimote to lock it in place.

  Insert your "House of the Dead 2 and 3" or "House of the Dead: Overkill" Wii game into your Wii. The Perfect Shot is compatible with both.

  Aim the Wiimote at the screen to select the "House of the Dead" game menu and start the game. The Wiimote still functions exactly the same as it would if it was outside of the shell.

  Calibrate your Perfect Shot. Select "Calibrate" in the "Options" menu of the game. Aim at the points on screen to successfully calibrate your Perfect Shot for use in House of the Dead. The Perfect Shot will now be fully usable in-game.
