Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on your Nintendo Wii console and press the "A" button to launch its main menu. Press the "Wii Options" button located at the bottom-left corner of the screen. Click "Wii Settings" on the menu interface that appears.
Click the right arrow to browse to the third page of the Wii settings menu. Press "Wii System Update, followed by "Yes" when asked "Connect to the Internet and Perform a Wii System Update?" Read the console's terms of agreement and click "I Accept." Allow for the update to download and install to your Wii automatically.
Restart your Nintendo Wii console once the update has finished installing on the system. After this installation, your Wii console will be SDHC compliant, effectively supporting up to 32GB of memory storage. Next to the "Wii Options" menu, you can now view all data stored in your SDHC card by clicking a newly implemented "SD" option.
