Computer SD Card Preparation

  Insert the SD card into the SD card reader. Insert the SD card reader cord into a USB port on the computer. Wait for the icon of the SD card to appear on the desktop.

  Download a Wii SD card installation program to the desktop. For example, download the Wii Brew SD Installer program. Double-click the file once downloaded to decompress it to a program on the desktop.

  Double-click the Wii SD card installation program to launch it. Follow the menu commands to select the SD card. Select the "Twilight Hack" option presented on the screen that matches the part of the world you are in--i.e., if you are in North America, select the "North America Twilight Hack."

  Press the "Start" button to copy the installation to the SD card. Wait for the confirmation window to appear. Click "OK" in the confirmation window. Quit the program.

  Right-click the icon of the SD card. Select "Eject" from the pop-up menu. Remove the SD card reader from the USB port of the computer. Remove the SD card from the SD card reader.

WII Twilight Hack Activation

  Turn on the Wii. Insert the "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" video game disc into the front loading slot of the Wii. Select the icon of the game from the menu screen. Press the "A" button on the Wii remote to start the game loading from the disc. Select "Start" from the game's home menu. Press the "A" button to start the game.

  Select the "Option" menu at the bottom of the screen. Select "Game Save" from the list of choices presented on the screen. Press the "A" button on the Wii remote to save the game. Quit the game. Press the "Eject" button on the front of the Wii to eject the game disc. Turn the Wii off.

  Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on the Wii. Turn the Wii on.

  Select the "Options" icon at the lower left of the screen. Select the "Data Management" icon on the new screen that appears. Select the "Wii" icon on the left side of the screen that appears.

  Select the icon of the "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" video game on the screen. Select the "Erase" icon on the new screen that appears. Click "Yes" on the confirmation window when it appears.

  Click the "SD card" tab at the upper left corner of the screen. Select the "Twilight Hack" icon at the upper left corner of the screen. Select the "Copy" icon on the new screen that appears. Click "Yes" on the confirmation window when it appears.

  Click the "Back" icon on the screen repeatedly until you return to the main menu screen. Insert the "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" video game disc into the front loading slot. Select the icon of the game when it appears on the screen. Click the icon to start the game loading.

  Select "Start" from the game's home menu. Press the "A" button to start the game. Select the "Option" menu at the bottom of the screen. Select "Game load" from the list of choices presented on the screen. Select the icon of the game save that is on the screen.

  Press the "A" button on the Wii remote to load the game save. Click "Yes" in the confirmation window that appears. Wait as the game save that is actually the Wii SD card installation program modifies the Wii.

  Press the "Eject" button on the front of the Wii to eject the game disc once the Wii has rebooted itself. Remove the game disc. Turn the Wii off.
