How to Grow a Money Tree in Animal Crossing

"Animal Crossing," a life simulation game created by Nintendo, takes place in real time. You will find and catch many items while taking part in the many activities of "Animal Crossing," and these items can be sold to Nook's Store for bells. You can also profit from special rewards that are used to create items like the rare money tree. There's no guarantee that you can grow a money tree, but if you can, it is guaranteed to produce a profit.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase two shovels from "Nook's Store." You can only purchase one shovel per day. Nook restocks his store daily so return to the store daily until another shovel becomes available.

    • 2

Place a shovel in your inventory and equip your character with the other.

    • 3

Press "A" to dig a hole. Select the second shovel and select "Bury." Your character will bury the shovel in the previously dug hole.

    • 4

Return to the spot at least 24 hours later. Equip your character with a shovel and dig up the buried one. Stand behind the buried shovel and press "A." You should have a golden shovel in your inventory.

    • 5

Use the golden shovel to bury a bag of bells. Bury the bells the same way you buried your shovel. Each 10,000 bells translates to a 10 percent chance of growing a money tree. If successful, your tree will grow three bell bags containing 30,000 bells per bag.

    • 6

Water your planted bells at least five times with a watering can.

    • 7

Return to the tree in a few days.

    • 8

Face your character toward the tree and press"A." The bags will fall on to the ground. Press "A" to collect the bags of bells.
