Hidden Treasure
A bevy of hidden treasures are scattered across the game world. Many of them require specific tools to access, such as the slingshot or pickax. Rather than hunting for treasures early in the game, only to discover that you can't reach them anyway, wait until you discover the TNT during Chapter 12 to do your searching. By that point, you will have all the tools necessary to access the treasures and avoid pointless searching and aggravation.
Defeating Pusca
Pusca is the final boss to fight in the game. Despite the most coordinated attempts to dodge attacks, Pusca will still manage to get in some cheap shots. As such, begin the battle with full health. The only way to beat Pusca is to strike nearby pillars into your foe. Pusca will occasionally send a few lackeys after you, which you will also need to eliminate with pillars. As a general strategy, hide behind a pillar to dodge Pusca's attacks, and then quickly hit the same pillar into the boss. Once Pusca's health bar completely empties, you win the game.
Play as Nicole
For a change of pace, you can also play as Pitfall Harry's beautiful sidekick, Nicole. Access the main title screen and hold down the "Z" button on your Wii Remote. Press "Left," "Up," "Down," "Up," "Plus," "Up," "Up," and then release the "Z" button. You will hear a chime to confirm correct code entry. Begin a new game to play as Nicole.
Play the Original "Pitfall" Game
Well into the game, you will reach the Renegade Headquarters. A large structure towers over Pitfall Harry, which must be climbed to initiate the next boss battle. Near the top of the structure, look to the left to see the old shaman's hut. Enter the hut and speak to the shaman to receive a mysterious relic. Take the relic back to the Punchau Shrine and locate the web in the room with moving pillars. The mysterious relic will burn away the web, revealing a secret passage. Travel down the passage to unlock the original "Pitfall" game for play.
