How to Unlock Sonic on Super Smash Bros Brawl for Wii

Super Smash Brothers Brawl comes stocked with 21 playable characters when you begin the game for the first time. Additional characters are hidden throughout the game. You can unlock them by completing various achievements, such as playing a certain number of "Brawl" matches, completing the "Events" matches and going through the "Subspace Emissary" event. Sonic the hedgehog is one of the hidden characters that you can unlock throughout the game.

Instructions

  Turn on the Nintendo Wii. Insert the "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" disc into the Nintendo Wii. Click "Play Super Smash Brothers Brawl."

  Click "Solo." Click "Classic Mode." Choose a character by hovering over them with the glove icon and pressing "A." Click "Start."

  Advance through each of the 12 stages until you reach the final stage where you will fight "Master Hand." Defeat Master Hand and you will beat classic mode. Do this ten times with ten different characters and Sonic will appear when you defeat Master Hand for the tenth time. Defeat Sonic and he will become a playable character.
