How to Import Wii Rock Band Songs

Have you updated from Rock Band to Rock Band 2, and now are missing the songs from Rock band? No problem--you can import 55 out of the 84 songs for a fee of 400 Microsoft points. Rock Band 2 is the first to have cross-title support for download content, which allows you to keep the songs you already purchased and transfer them to the newest version.

Things You'll Need

  • Rock Band original disc
  • 400 Microsoft points

Instructions

      Insert your original Rock Band disc into your Wii.

      Select "Update Your Title" from the main menu.

    • 3

      Select the "Extras" tab.

      Click on "Export Disc" option. Follow the onscreen instructions. There will be a charge of 400 Microsoft points to re-license the songs for use. You need to be online to purchase the license key. The songs will be added to your music lists on Rock Band 2.
