How to Connect & Reconnect the Wii Nunchuk Controller

The Nintendo Wii Nunchuck is an add-on to the Wii Remote. Although the Wii Remote can be used by itself in most cases, the Nunchuck can be used in tandem with the Wii Remote; adding more buttons, an extra analog stick and additional motion sensing capabilities. The Nunchuck itself does not require batteries and does not need to be synced to the Wii.

Instructions

      Move the Wii Remote wrist strap through the connector hook on the Nunchuck.

      Position the strap so that is coming straight through the hook, allowing you to use it after the Nunchuck has been connected.

      Insert the Nunchuck connector into the expansion port on the bottom of the Wii Remote. Because the Nunchuck does not include a light or any indication of operation, you must use it in a game or Wii Channel that supports it to confirm that it is working correctly.
