Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on the Wii console. Select "Wii Options" from the main menu screen and press "A" on the Wiimote to select it. The options icon is in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
Highlight "Wii Settings" and press "A" to select it. Select "Internet" from the second page of listings. Open it by highlighting it and pressing "A."
Select "Console Information" from the top of the list. On the page it will display, write down the IP address and TCPPort for your Wii.
Run Windows Explorer on your computer and type "ftp://YourWiiIPAdress:TCPPort" into the address bar, without the quote marks. "YourWiiIPAddress" is the IP address you just took from your Wii. The TCPPort is also from the Wii. Press "Enter."
Double-click on the folder titled "SD." It should have a symbol that looks like a globe with an upside-down T-shaped pipe on it. This is your Wii SD card file. You are now connected to your Wii files.
