How to Turn Off Language on the Wii Call of Duty

"Call of Duty: World at War" ("Call of Duty" or "COD") on the Nintendo Wii is a war game, and some of the battles feature profane and ethnically-offensive language. Although this language might be authentic to such conflicts, some gamers will prefer to play "Call of Duty" without profanity. The game makes it easy to turn off this language.

     Press the "A" button in the game's main menu to access the "Options" menu.

     Scroll down to highlight the "Reduced" option.

     Press the "A" button to enable the "Reduced" feature. This will turn off the profane language. It will also automatically censor some of the game's more violent images.
