How to Tranfer the SD Card Games Into Your Wii

The Nintendo Wii has a very limited amount of internal memory (that is, storage space to store games, music and save files). In light of this lack of storage space, many gamers decide to store games on SD cards rather than in the Wii's limited memory. Sometimes, however, gamers want the ease of loading specific games directly from the Wii, and so they transfer the games from the SD card onto the Wii.

Instructions

  Insert the SD card that has the games you want to transfer into the Nintendo Wii.

  Open the "Wii Settings" menu. This option is located on the bottom-left corner of the Wii's main menu.

  Select "Data Management."

  Click the "Save Data" option.

  Select "Wii."

  Click the SD card tab on the top-right corner of the screen. This will display a list of all of the games currently stored on the SD card.

  Select the game that you want to transfer to the Wii and press the "Copy" button.

  Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to transfer the game. The game will immediately transfer to the Wii's internal storage.
