My Wii Light Won't Light

The Nintendo Wii's LED light surrounds the faceplate and front of the DVD drive, illuminating at predetermined times, for example, when a game disc is inserted or a message is received from its online social community service. Vibrations from the drive can cause the single connector cable powering the LED light to become dislodged--eliminating any chance of the LED light illuminating. Fix the LED light by reengaging the connector cable. The Nintendo Wii will have to be partially disassembled in order to fix the LED light. The procedure is straightforward and requires a few common tools.
