Wii Fit System Requirements

Perform step exercises, run a couple of miles and walk a tightrope--all from the comfort of your living room. "Wii Fit" encourages players to get off the couch and start exercising with a variety of mini-games and training programs. The game is relatively easy to use with the Nintendo Wii console, and only has some basic system requirements to function properly.
  1. Peripherals and Accessories

    • This game is designed to use the Wii balance board peripheral. Players stand on the board to perform balancing exercises, do step training, measure weight and play games. The board requires four AA batteries and must be synchronized to the Wii console just like other controllers. Press the red sync button in the balance board battery compartment and then press the red sync button in the SD card slot on the front of the Wii console. "Wii Fit" also requires the use of one Wii remote for some game controls.

    Wii Menu Channel

    • When you play the game disc it will allow you to save a "Wii Fit" channel on the Wii Menu. This will allow you to check the progress of "Wii Fit" profiles and perform a body test in the future without inserting the game disc.

    System Memory

    • "Wii Fit" uses eight blocks of space in the Wii system memory to save a game file. As many as eight people can create their own profiles. Your training record is automatically saved to your profile, but you must save your records using the console's memory.
