How to Save Data on Rock Band 2 for the Wii

"Rock Band 2" for the Wii is a rhythm-based band simulation game. Players who perform well can unlock new venues, outfits and songs to use in the game. Players need to save their progress, and have a valid save file to load whenever the game is started. Saving is quite straightforward, and should only take a few moments.

  1. Saving Your Progress

      Go the main menu and select "Options."

      Click the "Auto Save" option.

      Click "On" to have the game automatically save your progress after each song. A small loading icon will appear on screen after each song to indicate the save is working.

    Transferring your save to an SD card

      Click on "Wii Menu" in the lower left corner of the Wii screen.

      Click on "Wii Settings" then select "Data Management."

      Insert an SD card into the SD card slot on the front face of the Wii.

      Go to "Save Data" and locate the file you wish to move to an SD card. Select "Copy." Click "Yes," then select "Copy to SD Card."
