How to Synchronize Rock Band Guitars With the Wii

In "Rock Band 2," players get the chance to form a band of their own as they sing, play the guitar and drum along to 84 different songs. New musicians can play the game's World Tour mode, beginning as a no-name band and working their way up to one of the world's most popular rock groups. To get started on the quest for musical glory, players must first connect the instrument peripherals to the Nintendo Wii. One of these instruments is the wireless guitar.

     Remove the battery cover on the back of the wireless guitar. Insert three "AA" batteries and replace the cover.

     Connect the white dongle to a USB port located on back of the Wii.

   • 3

     Hold down the "Guitar" icon on the dongle and wait for it to flash blue.

   • 4

     Press down on the dongle's "sync" button, then press the "sync" button on the guitar, located underneath the whammy bar.
