What Does the Wii Console Include?

As of September 2010, the Nintendo Wii retails for a suggested price of $199.99. For that you get the machine, a controller, connection wires and even two games. It's everything you need to get set up and playing in just a few minutes.

  1. Two Games

    • "Wii Sports" and "Wii Sports Resort" are the games. "Wii Sports" offers players challenges like bowling, tennis and boxing, while "Wii Sports Resort" includes wakeboarding, basketball and archery.

    Motion-Sensitive Controls

    • The Wii Remote allows players to experience the Wii's motion-sensitive controls, while the Nunchuk controller provides additional movement and aiming capabilities. The Wii Motion Plus accessory attaches to the remote and helps recreate your movements on the screen.

    Cords and Peripherals

    • The Sensor Bar attaches to a television and reads the player's movements from the remote. A power cord and standard composite cable are included. These cables can connect the Wii to any television; no additional cords are required.
