Plug the end of the Wii AV Cable labeled "AV Multi Out" into the corresponding port on back of the Nintendo Wii.
Connect the red, white and yellow plugs on the other end of the Wii AV Cable to the matching colored jacks on your television. Red corresponds to "Audio Input Right," white to "Audio Input Left" and yellow to "Video Input."
Insert the power cord into the back of the Wii, as well as into a power source, and turn the Wii on.
Plug the Wii Sensor Bar into the back of the console. Mount the Sensor Bar at either the top of your TV or in front at the bottom. Make sure it is centered for best reception.
Find the correct source for the Wii by pressing the television's "Source" button until you see the Wii's main menu on the screen. The button may be on the television itself or on the remote control. The button may be labeled differently depending on the model of television. Common labels include "Input," "TV/Video" and "AUX."
