Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the back battery cover from each Wii remote and place two AA batteries in each remote. Leave the battery cover off.
Press the "Power" button to turn the Wii console on.
Open the SD slot cover on the Nintendo Wii. Press the red "SYNC" button on the SD compartment and then press the red "SYNC" button below the battery slot on the back of one of the Wii remotes. An LED light on the front of the remote will blink and then stop to indicate the syncing is successful.
Repeat the process for the second Wii remote. Reattach the battery covers after each remote is synced.
Insert a two-player Wii game. The number of players possible for a game is printed on the back of the game box.
Select a multiplayer game mode. Every game has a different name for its multiplayer mode, such as "Versus" for "Super Smash Brothers" or "Co-Op" for certain first-person shooters. Other games, such as Wii Sports, allow you to select additional players after you pick the sport you wish to play. Consult your game's manual for multiplayer game modes.
