Banking Bullets
Bullets shot from your tank bounce off the walls once before exploding. Banking your shots off walls lets you attack other tanks while staying behind walls for defense. This can be especially useful against powerful tanks that are stationary targets.
Spraying Bullets
Your tank can shoot five bullets simultaneously, which can be used to build a "wall of bullets." While moving your tank in one direction, fire a series of shells perpendicularly toward your target. Fine tune your firing rates and angles to trap your opponent with a solid wave of bullets.
Defensive Positioning
Keeping your back to a wall at all times will reduce the number of angles that enemy bullets can be fired from. Instead of 360 degrees of potential attack, you'll reduce that amount to 270 degrees.
Envisioning Victory
For more complex levels, create a battle plan before attacking. Select which tanks to destroy to strategically create an easier level to battle afterward. For example, destroying a tank that shoots missiles from afar could make nearby tanks easier to defeat.
