What Happens to the Whacka When You Hit it too Many Times On Super Paper Mario?

In the Nintendo Wii game "Super Paper Mario," the third in the "Paper Mario" series, the player travels through a variety of dimensions, solving tricky puzzles and battling enemies. The Whacka is a rare "Paper Mario" character resembling a blue mole, and while you can hit or jump on it once and receive a surprise, it shouldn't be hit more than seven times.

Significance
- When hit in the head or jumped upon by a player, the Whacka produces a Whacka Bump, a special item that restores life and energy to the character and also can be sold for 100 coins.
Effects
- The hits that produce the Whacka Bump cause considerable injury to the Whacka. If you hit the Whacka eight times, it will disappear. Once the Whacka disappears, the player will not be able to obtain more of its special items.
Fun Facts
- The Whacka is named after the arcade game "Whack-a-Mole." In the "Super Paper Mario" world, Whacka Bumps also are considered to be edible pastries. You also can cook them, resulting in Roast Whacka Bumps, which possess healing powers.
