To operate the Nintendo Wii console, you must connect the included AC adapter to the back of the console and into a wall outlet. The audio-video cables must be connected to the console and the back of the television.
Solution
If the LED power light on the Nintendo Wii does not come on when you attempt to turn on the power, check the AC adapter cord. Make sure it is connected fully into the wall outlet and the proper plug in the console. If you continue to have problems with the power, Nintendo recommends that you disconnect the AC adapter from the wall outlet and wait two minutes. Plug the adapter back into the outlet and try to power on the console again.
