How to Play Two-Player on Madden for the Wii

Connect two Wii remotes to your Wii console. Simultaneously press the red "Sync" button in the battery bay of the controller and the matching "Sync" button in the memory card bay of the console until a player number lights up on the controller. The "1" will light up to indicate Player One and the "2" on the other controller will light up to indicate Player Two.

Select "Play Now" from the main menu of Madden. This will be the same regardless of which edition of Madden you are playing for the Wii.

Select a team with Player One. Move the controller icon left or right to the "Home" or "Away" side and select the team that you want to play with.

Select a team with Player Two. Move the controller icon left or right to activate two-player play. You can select the same team as Player One and play together or select the opposite team and play against each other.
