How to Load Free Wii Points

Wii points are virtual currency used to purchase games and channels on the Nintendo Wii gaming system. A free Wii points card has to be redeemed on the ̶0;Wii Shop Channel̶1; before the Wii points can be loaded and added to an account. The Wii must have Internet access to connect to the ̶0;Wii Shop Channel.̶1;

Instructions

  Click the ̶0;Wii Shop Channel̶1; from the Wii̵7;s main menu, then click ̶0;Start.̶1; The channel may take a moment to load.

  Click the ̶0;Start Shopping̶1; button at the bottom of the screen.

  Click the ̶0;Add Wii Points̶1; button in the middle of the screen and choose the "Redeem Nintendo Points" button.

  Scratch off the silver strip on the back of the Wii points card to reveal the code numbers.

  Click the blank box at the bottom of the screen and a number keypad will appear.

  Enter the numeric activation code from the back of the card into the box on the screen, then click ̶0;OK.̶1;

  Click ̶0;Redeem̶1; to confirm the code. A confirmation message will appear when it's completed. When you return to the ̶0;Wii Shop̶1; screen, your account will be credited the points from your Wii card.
